This page covers realrows.com and the domains RealRows sends email from. It says who runs them, why you may have received an email from us, where your data came from, and how to make it stop.

Got an email from us?

Then a person, not a bot farm, decided your company was worth writing to. RealRows is a one-person outbound service run by Michael Fenzl in Vienna, Austria. We build prospect lists from public records and send short, plain-text business emails on behalf of our clients or for ourselves.

We found your business in a public source. Typical sources are building and solar permits, state incentive program data, professional license registers, federal staffing and safety filings, carrier registries, company registers and your own website. Your name and role come from that record, from your company's website or from a public professional profile. The email address is either published by your company, derived from your company's address format and then verified, or provided by a business contact data provider.

You will never get an email from realrows.com itself. Our sending domains are getrealrows.com, realrowsdata.com, provenrows.com, rightrows.com and signalrows.com. If an email claims to be from RealRows but comes from anywhere else, it is not from us. Forward it to [email protected].

Opt out

Reply to the email with "no", "stop" or "unsubscribe", or write to [email protected] from any address. You are removed from every current and future list the same business day, and your address goes on a suppression list so you are not contacted again, even if a new record surfaces. You do not need to give a reason.

Our emails contain no tracking pixels and no tracking links. We do not know whether you opened them.

Privacy notice

These websites

  • No cookies, no analytics, no tracking. The pages set no cookies and load nothing from third parties. Fonts and images are served from our own site.
  • Hosting. The pages are served by Cloudflare, Inc. (San Francisco, USA) through its Pages and CDN service. Cloudflare processes your IP address and request headers to deliver the page and to block abuse, and keeps short-lived technical logs. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure, fast website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is bound by a data processing agreement with EU standard contractual clauses and is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
  • Booking a call. The "Book a call" button leads to cal.com, a scheduling service with its own privacy notice. Data you enter there is processed by cal.com and by us to hold the meeting.
  • Email to us. If you write to us, we keep the message as long as needed to handle it and any follow-up, then delete it, unless the law requires longer retention.

Data in our outreach

This is the information required by Art. 14 GDPR when personal data is not collected from you directly.

What we hold
Your name, business role, business email address, company name, company website and the public-record entry that made your company relevant (for example a permit, a program entry or a filing). Sometimes a business phone number or a public professional profile URL.
Where it came from
Public registers and datasets (state and federal agencies, municipal permit portals, incentive programs, license boards, company registers), your company's website and imprint, public professional profiles, and business contact data providers we license. Each row records its source; you can ask which one applies to you.
Why
To send you a short business email about a product or service that, based on the record, is relevant to your company; to answer your reply; and to keep an opt-out list so we honor your wishes.
Legal basis
Legitimate interest in business-to-business direct marketing (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, Recital 47). We weigh this against your interests before every campaign: we write only to business roles, only about topics tied to the record, in plain text, without tracking, and we stop the moment you say so.
Who receives it
Our email sending platform (Smartlead), our mailbox provider (Google Workspace), email verification providers, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) and, when we send on behalf of a client, that client, who is named in the email. Processors act under data processing agreements.
Transfers outside the EU
Some providers process data in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, otherwise on EU standard contractual clauses.
How long
Outreach data is deleted no later than 12 months after our last contact with you, unless you replied and a business conversation is ongoing. If you opt out, we keep only what is needed to keep you on the suppression list, for as long as the list exists.
Automated decisions
None. A person decides who gets written to.

United States: CAN-SPAM

Every commercial email we send to US recipients identifies the sender, carries our postal address, and offers a reply-based opt-out that we honor immediately, well within the ten business days the law allows. Subject lines describe the content; headers are not falsified.

Your rights

  • Object at any time to direct marketing (Art. 21(2) GDPR). We then stop, no questions asked. The fastest way is to reply "no" to any email.
  • Access the data we hold about you, including its source (Art. 15).
  • Rectification, erasure and restriction (Art. 16 to 18). Erasure is limited only by the suppression entry that keeps you off future lists, which you can also ask us to remove.
  • Data portability where it applies (Art. 20).
  • Complaint to a supervisory authority. Ours is the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna, dsb.gv.at.
